Ashburton delicatessen specialising in all things fishy: fresh fish from Brixham and Plymouth day boats whenever possible and line-caught sea bass and mackerel,hand dived scallops, local Start bay lobster and Crab, smoked fish from Tregida smokehouse (see listing) Chef /owner also produces home made seafood dishes. Two gold and two Silvers from Taste of the West 2007 with a Gold for their Tiger Prawn Salad, and Thai Fish curry, and Silver and Bronze in the 2008 Awards for various cooked fish dishes such as fish pate, and Bouillabaisse Shortlisted as one of three for Independent Seafood Retailer of the year in 2009 (sponsored by Seafish) Featured in Country Living magazine 2009 and lots of other national press.
