About:

Highly rated farm and farm shop producing a wide range of mostly organic meats including organic beef, lamb, pork, chicken, bacon, sausages, cheeses, prepared foods. All the organic meat is produced on the Rhug Estate Farm in North Wales. Taste of Britain Silver award for its Salt marsh lamb and a 1 Star Gold Award for Pork and Leek Sausage in the Great Taste Awards 2007. Received a 2 Star Gold for Organic Chicken in The Great Taste Awards 2008 and a 2 Star Gold Award for 'Pork and Black Pudding Sausage' and three 1 Star Gold Awards for 'Steak, Red Wine & Mushroom Pie,organic', Steak & Stilton Pie' and 'Mediterranean Vegetables & Goats Cheese Pie, organic' in the 2009 Great Taste Awards.  The 2010 Great Taste Awards have brought them a 3 Star Gold for 'Sirloin Beef - aged on the bone'.  Also runs a good roadside cafe selling organic burgers, bacon sandwiches and sausages.
