Traditional unpasteurised Farmhouse Cheddar has been made by Keen's at Moorhayes Farm (Wincanton, Somerset) since 1899. Awards include a Silver Medal for Extra Mature Cheddar Cheese in the 2007 British Cheese Awards and a Silver for Mature Traditional Cheddar in the Taste of the West 2007 Awards. Winner of the Best PDO/PGI Cheese trophy and a Gold Medal for their Cheddar at the 2008 British Cheese awards also a Silver Award in The Taste of the West 2008 Awards for The Mature Raw Milk Cheddar with a Gold in the 2009 Awards for their Mature Traditional Cheddar made from unpasteurised milk. They now have a Gold Award in the 2009 World Cheese Awards for Traditional Extra Mature Cheddar.
