BANANAS WITH IRISH MIST

Ingredients:
2 OZ BUTTER, 4 BANANAS, 4 TBSP IRISH MIST (WHISKEY LIQUOUR) 4 TSP CASTOR SUGAR
Method:
MELT BUTTER IN HEAVY FRYING PAN
PEEL BANANAS AND LEAVE THEM WHOLE IN THE PAN TURNING THEM CAREFULLY IN THE MELTED BUTTER
COOK OVER LOW HEAT APPROX 3 MINS ON EACH SIDE UNTIL THEY ARE HEATED THROUGH
PLACE THEM ON INDIVIDUAL PLATES AND KEEP WARM WHILE MAKING SAUCE
ADD SUGAR TO REMAINING BUTTER IN PAN
STIR OVER LOW HEAT UNTIL DISOLVED
ADD IRISH MIST, STIR WELL AND BRING MIXTURE TO THE BOIL
SLICE THE HOT BANANAS AND SPOON SAUCE OVER THEM
SERVE WITH FRESH WHPPED CREAM
